It’s that time of the year again when soft sands and rolling waves instantly make us forget all our worries. Summer at the beach calls for messy and wavy hair, tan lines, fruit juices, and eternal smiles. It’s a rewarding time after a year of work and studying. The tropical child in all of us just gets that happy feeling when we hear the beach calling.

With the reality at hand, summer 2020 is different for most of us. No beach, no waves, not even an inch of that sea-scent vibe. We all have to stay at home to stay safe. However, it’s still summer. We can all feel the familiar heat that it brings. Summer at home is the new normal. It’s getting hotter and hotter each day. There are still a lot of ways to stay happy this summer szn. One way to be happy is to stay healthy!

 

 

1. Wear your Sunscreen!

Whether you’re in or out of your house, wearing sun lotion with at least SPF 30 is important. Protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.

 

2. Keep yourself hydrated

Drink at least eight to nine glasses a day to keep your body hydrated. Summer season means heat and sweat! You could also add some cucumbers, lemon, or any citrus to your drink.

 

3. Eat more fruits and vegetables

Picking freshly harvested food will help you get the benefits they have to offer. Especially at this time, eating more fruits and veggies will help your body stay healthy!

 

4. Exercise!

Stay active this summer season! This will both benefit physical and mental health so get your body going.

 

5. Maintain good hygiene

Make sure to shower daily and keep your hands clean! This is the secret to preventing any infections! Also, make sure that anything you eat or drink is clean. These little ways will go along way.
