Beauty junkies are faced with life’s little decisions on a daily: cat or doll eyes; nude or red lip; highlights or ombre; and so much more. For the past years, the beauty industry has blessed us with innovations for our daily beauty needs. Our January STAIL Icon, Julia Barretto, may not be the biggest fan of skincare or daily routines. However, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t face the alluring world’s sneakiest and trickiest questions.
Julia took a relaxing beauty break to answer STAIL.PH’s fun “Would You Rather” questions on beauty!
Would You Rather…
Live without makeup or nail polish?
I’ll live without makeup because I like nail polish. My go-to color is white.
Spend money on clothes or makeup?
Have a bad haircut or bad hair color?
Um, Maybe bad haircut.
Go out with messy hair and nice makeup or nice hair and no makeup?
Nice hair and no makeup always!
Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Like bald? I’ll just grow my hair.
Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I’ll just wear my hair in a ponytail.
Would you rather accidentally pull your eyelashes out with an eyelash curler, or accidentally burn yourself with a curling iron?
Woah, maybe burn myself with an iron ‘coz I’ve already done that anyway. But it’s okay now. I love my lashes, and I’m never gonna lose them.
Would you rather have an endless supply of mascara or a lifetime supply of shampoo?
Lifetime supply of shampoo, and that’s Palmolive.
Take a lukewarm bath every day, or a freezing cold shower on a reg?
Hot water forever!
Never have to wash your face again (and miraculously have clear skin), or never have to brush your teeth again (but magically have zero cavities and fresh breath)?
I like no cavities better. I brush my teeth five times a day all the time. I’m so conscious, especially at work. Even if I only had one chip, I always brush my teeth after. So I wish my breath is always just good without having to do anything.
Have a good hair day every single day for the rest of your life, or have perfect brows for all of eternity?
I’ll go for good hair.
