If you’re on track with our Coachella updates, you should know by now that Coachella 2019 Day 1 was nothing short of an epic style extravaganza. Now we’re down to this season’s Day 2 of fashion rundown and it just keeps getting better and better.

This time we’ll take a break from influences and put the focus on the performers’ best stage outfit moments. And we are talking about fringes, sheers, glitters, and high-cut briefs (you heard that right). This year’s performers did not disappoint in serving us looks, and we are here to eat them all up.

Janelle Monáe, everybody–for your consideration! The singer, songwriter, and actress gave us life as she hit the stage sporting a bold military-inspired outfit with bigger-than-life shoulder pads, pair of Chanel boots, a custom-made Ruslan Baginskiy hat, and futuristic Nicholas Kirkwood glasses spelling out her name. Now how’s that for the first number! Did we mention she made a total of five costume changes that night?

Selena Gomez on stage at Coachella for the first time with Cardi B and DJ Snake: Was it a surprise? YES. Are we gagged? Absolutely! Selena has been a frequent show-goer at Coachella but only this year she finally hit the stand and performed her latest hit single “Taki Taki.” Gomez dazzled the stage wearing an all-white suit complete with romantic lace sleeves and wide-leg trousers. Cardi B, who never fails to make a statement with her bold looks, opted for a coordinated floral vest and powder-blue bodysuit.

Blackpink made history in style! As the first K-pop band to perform at Coachella, the South Korean all-girl sensation (not to mention the highest-charting female K-pop act in US pop music history) performed on the Sahara Stage wearing coordinating outfits of white, black, gold, and silver, topped with lace-up boots and bold jewelry. Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé looked ultimately divine while performing hits like “Forever Young” and “Stay” for all the Blinks out there.
