The Kardashians have taken over reality TV for over a decade with their renowned series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Since their first-ever episode in 2007, there have been many significant moments the family has experienced including marriage, divorce, babies, scandals, business ventures, and of course, the countless fights they had – you name it, they’ve been through it, all in front of the cameras.
The first episode of the eighteenth season premiered last March 27 and ended right in the middle of what looks to be one of the most intense fights in the show’s history, so we’ve listed down five memorable squabbles within the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
The Bentley Fight
One of the most iconic fights featured in the show was what is now known as the Bentley Fight. After making her first big-ticket purchase, Kim spent a long time waiting for her dream car to arrive. Wanting to make sure their sister was not being handed the shorter end of the deal, Kourtney and Khloe started calling out the man who brokered the transaction, only to be met with Kim on the other end, defending the seller. Kourtney and Khloe eventually left her to complete her purchase and proceeded to discuss everything that went down with Rob and Scott back at their hotel. Overhearing the conversation and singling out parts of it that sounded like backstabbing, Kim then entered the room and swung her bag at Khloe, uttering the now-infamous “Don’t be f—- rude!” line that has made for an iconic reaction gif. What’s more, the fight also led Kris and Bruce (now Caitlyn) to plan a family ski trip, which in turn spawned the original ugly cry meme featuring Kim.
Cruella and the Downpayment
As Kris’ only son, Rob seems to have a special place in his mother’s heart. When Rob and Blac Chyna decided to move out of Khloe’s house and into their own, Kris wanted to help them out. Over dinner, the sisters found out about Kris’ offer of financial support and argued that it was time to cut the then-30-year-old Rob off. The matriarch then threw it back at her kids, declaring that it was her choice to support Rob unconditionally, just as she had done the same for the rest of her kids, regardless of their previous scandals.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Disinvite
Known as the relatively calm, drama-free sister, Kendall showed she could stand up and defend herself when push came to shove. In 2015, Kendall landed her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show gig and in order to keep the spotlight away from her surname (which she related was actually a disadvantage to her modeling career), she decided that she wouldn’t invite anyone from the family. When she found out Caitlyn was going to attend anyway, Kendall called her up to discuss her feelings about her dad’s attendance. The model proceeded to say angrily, “You’re going to take the biggest night of my life and take it away from me?” effectively disinviting Caitlyn to the show.
The Death of Dash
The Dash brand had been a part of the reality show franchise since its inception, even becoming the focal point of its first spin-offs, as the sisters opened locations in New York and Miami. After receiving an offer from a department store to buy out the brand, their end goal in the first place, Kim and Khloe agreed that it was a sound business decision, especially as they have less and less time to spend watching over the store. Kourtney, on the other hand, wanted to continue investing in Dash, with a new app and a revamp, and focusing on its Miami store. Eventually, the sisters came to an agreement that closing the New York location, keeping the one in Miami and investing in e-commerce was the best direction for their baby brand.
The Kardashian Family Card
Every year, many of us await the Kardashians and their holiday greeting card. Before Season 15, we didn’t know the drama that actually goes down in each shoot. Working around the busy schedules of every member of the Kardashians and Jenners can be difficult, and the season premiere showed just how heated it can become. While figuring out what would be the best time to shoot, Kim and Kourtney refuse to budge on their respective schedules, leading the younger of the two to shout out one of the season’s unforgettable lines, “If you had a f—- business that you were passionate about, then you would know what it takes to run a f—- business, but you don’t!” The fight may have seemed petty at first, but later that evening, Kourtney admits to both Kim and Khloe that she thinks her relationship with them feels forced.
And if the premiere of Season 18 is anything to go by, it looks like the drama between Kim and Kourtney reaches a peak, as the sisters battle it out physically.
