Founded in 2013 by style icons Georgina Wilson, Martine Cajucom, Bea Soriano Dee and her businessman husband Eric Dee, Sunnies Studios immediately captured the hearts of fashion-loving Filipinos.
It all began when the brand sold its first collection of sunglasses. Sunnies Studios gained the reputation of being able to produce quality designs at affordable prices.
In an interview with CNN Philippines, Sunnies’ Creative Director Martine Cajucom shared how they come up with their brand’s designs. “We’ve always talked about how we’re focused on the perfect Pantones–the subtlety of the colors are playful elements, travel elements, moments,” she said.
In 2015, the brand received an award for Store Operations Excellence from Ayala Malls during the 17th Ayala Merchant Rewards night. In the same year, SM Supermalls recognized Sunnies Studios with a Best In Marketing Award (VizMin category) during its first-ever SM Partners’ Summit.
The following year, Go Negosyo included Martine, Georgina, and Bea among 18 Inspiring Filipina Entrepreneurs in its 8th Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit. Sunnies studio is available nationwide.

In 2016, the brand expanded from chic sunglasses to prescription eyewear. It also entered the food business via its Sunnies Cafe and launched the makeup line Sunnies Face.
In an interview with Mega magazine, Georgina Wilson said that Sunnies Face is a dream come true. “We wanted to do makeup before we did Sunnies. We’ve been waiting for so long and we really had to reach the size that we are now to be able to do it in the way that we wanted to—to work with the right manufacturers, to have the right distribution and to do in a big, impactful way.”
