Women are powerful human beings. I don’t think all of us can fully comprehend the entire beauty of being one but that is okay. We are constantly growing, learning, and knowing the type of woman that we want to become. This month, STAIL Icon Kyline Alcantara is taking her time to cherish all the wonderful experiences of being a woman.
Let’s take one wave at a time. I want to be surprised. Let’s take and dwell with what the world can offer to me because my older friends told me that’s where I can build myself as an adult by overcoming those experiences.
That is true. I don’t think there is a standardized manual on how to become a woman. What I want to be is definitely different from Kyline’s. But I do believe that there is common ground — we all want to take every wave of experiences in our own time, at our own pace.
When she turned 18 last week, she knew she’s going to have more responsibility. A lot of her supporters really look up to her and she knows she owes them so much. That lights the fire in her and drives to work more passionately and be more cautious with her decisions. What I like about her is that she’s firm about just being herself. She doesn’t want to pretend to be someone she’s not. She’s now a woman of her own.
As a STAIL Icon, Kyline believes that our dreams are valid. It doesn’t matter where you’re from but as long as you have the guts and passion to do things, you’ll be able to achieve it. She’s also all for equality. And it takes guts to stand up for everyone.
I like to think that the world and this industry is like a jigsaw puzzle. We have different cuts, edges, and sizes, but at the end of the day when the game is over and it’s time to put things away, we are all on the same box. If it’s time to assemble us, we may have a difference but when we are together, we connect and complete each other and make a wonderful masterpiece.
I couldn’t agree more. It’s an ever-changing world. We may have differences from each other but we are definitely our own masterpiece, designed for greatness. And that depends on our choices and how we define ourselves. I encourage you to step up and become the person you’ve always dreamed of becoming.
